About Ruth Paris

Having coached board level directors internationally for over 17 years, Ruth has increasingly come to specialise in helping people in crucial roles to manage the uniquely challenging demands of high pressure, high profile jobs. Recognising that 'it's lonely at the top', Ruth offers sensitive, sophisticated support.

Described by one client as 'the angel at my shoulder', her personal style is warm and empathic. Her work is characterised by the incisive ability to identify precisely where the core issue lies, allied with the precision and expertise to resolve it.

With over twenty years' experience working with personal change, Ruth's clients are assured of a quality of engagement that is mature, effective and consistent throughout any process that requires a steadfast ally and powerful coaching support.

Qualifications and experience

In 1991 Ruth co-founded a niche business consultancy developing leadership, team and individual performance, during which time she specialised as an executive coach and mentor. She has worked independently since 2002, with clients across the UK Europe and Asia.

Ruth worked for fourteen years as a volunteer advisor, coach and counsellor with the Citizens Advice Bureau and continues to make an operational contribution in the not-for-profit sector. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and subscribes to their rigorous code of ethics.

With an MA in Linguistics and Social Anthropology (Edinburgh University), Ruth is also a qualified counsellor (Surrey University), accredited NLP Master Practitioner (1993), certified NLP Health Practitioner (1996) and certified NLP Coach (1998).
